Eating Oxford
You’re Invited! OUUMC’s Community Thanksgiving Meal
Oxford-University United Methodist Church and other area churches are coming together tomorrow to provide a Thanksgiving meal for the entire community. There is no donation required, no cost to come eat, and daycare will be provided for families with small children.
This is a completely inclusive event open to the entire community. Everyone from large families to those without families to students stuck on campus. Come as you are to enjoy fellowship and a delicious meal.
The buffet-style meal will be served on real china with real silverware in the Church’s activity center. OUUMC is providing the Thanksgiving staples, turkey and dressing, while other area churches are bring the fixings, mashed potatoes, green beans, sweet potatoes, rolls, desserts and more.
Volunteers have been preparing all day to accommodate up to 200 people at a time, but are hoping to feed more than that.
If you have any questions about tomorrow’s Thanksgiving meal, please contact OUUMC at 662-236-3278.
