Tre Amici Adding Rooftop Patio this Fall
Tre Amici announced that it is adding an outdoor dining area that will rival the other balconies and patios of the Square. Owner Bo Petro said he hopes to open Tre Amici’s rooftop patio in October.
“We have all this room upstairs that’s not being utilized. I brought in a structural engineer and we drew up the plans to build the patio and a new stairwell in front of the restaurant,” Petro said.
Petro is scheduled to meet with city building commission to finalize plans in August. He believes construction should only take two months and will be open for rooftop business by the time SEC play starts in Oxford (i.e. October 4th vs. Alabama).
“I think it would be great for people just sit outside, enjoy the beautiful weather of fall, sipping a cocktail or grabbing a bite to eat,” Petro said.
Petro is an Ole Miss grad and former Rebel tennis player who decided to make Oxford his permanent home after college.
“I love Oxford. The people are great,” Petro said. “I coach tennis at Goose Creek and that’s a lot of fun.”
Tre Amici is located just off the Square at 1107 E Jackson Ave.
