Eating Oxford
Panera Bread Restaurant Opening Soon
Oxford will welcome a location of chain restaurant Panera Bread on West Jackson Avenue, to be opened in September, on the site formerly occupied by a Shell station near Wendy’s. Panera purveys freshly baked artisan breads in a fast-casual dining concept. With the Oxford store, it expands its reach down from various locations in Memphis.
A 2008 Health magazine study found Panera Bread to be the healthiest fast-casual restaurant in North America.
Panera’s cafe menu includes a wide array of pastries, hot breakfast sandwiches, pastas, soups, flatbreads, salads, fruit smoothies, frozen drinks, iced drinks, coffee, tea, espresso drinks, and kids’ items.
