Get lost in Lost Pizza Company

A Mississippi favorite, Lost Pizza Company is set to open within the next week. The health inspection took place on Tuesday, Sept. 26. Assuming that all went well, they will train the staff the rest of the week and open their doors Monday, Oct. 2.

Lost Pizza Company is located off of College Hill Road, near Pat Lamar Park. This is the 14th Lost Pizza Co. to open in the tri-state area (Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas).
When selecting the new location, University of Mississippi graduate Chuck McCarty and owner of Lost Pizza Co. said, “We looked at some other areas first, but we always kept coming back to Oxford. With Ole Miss being here, we felt like the time was right.”

The Oxford location had been in the works for just over a year in an attempt to establish the
perfect pizza place for Oxford residents. McCarty said he found the new location by
accident.
“It was a chance meeting one Sunday afternoon with my realtor. The first time I looked at it, I was kind of skeptical,” McCarty said.
With the store being located a half-mile from campus, just off of Jackson Avenue, McCarty decided it was the perfect fit for a restaurant.
The inside of the restaurant is decorated like most Lost Pizza Co. restaurants. They portray a Mississippi music and Blues theme. Most of the decorations come from flea markets with newly refurbished and repurposed items, mostly supplied by The Mississippi Delta.

The new restaurant is two stories and offers indoor/outdoor eating seating options. The upstairs offers regular dining, a full service bar and a patio.
